No one can really say what it is specifically about rose quartz that draws such immense attention to the crystal, in the healing community and beyond. Rose quartz is a variety of quartz (silicon dioxide, or SiOâ‚‚ for the chemistry fans), which happens to be one of the most abundant minerals on our planet.
